12 Meet is a dating site that focuses its energy on the user profiles. You can quickly get a free membership and get inside the site, but many of the features will not be available to you until you fill out your profile in full. That said, there are some really good search features so it is worth doing. You can search for members who are online right then, new members, members near your or do detailed searches that allow you to find members that are compatible with you.

The profiles not only have some great detail, but when you select a profile they give it a score right away that shows, based on your answers, how compatible you are with that person. I really like that feature because it lets you know at a glance if this is someone who's profile you should look closer at. The site has several menus, but getting used to using them is pretty simple. You can do all kinds of browsing and searching for free, but you will have to pay for a membership if you want to contact anyone.

While the site has a lot of members and is well designed, it lacks any real bonus features. There are no chat rooms or instant message services. Also, you have to fill out your profile completely to get access to some features and that can be a long, time consuming process. This is a pretty decent site. It isn't great nor is it bad, it is somewhere in the middle of the road. If you don't care about extra features and just want very detailed profiles, you might give this one a shot.
