African Princess

African Princess is a site that matches African women with men in other countries. This is essentially a site where people can find African brides as opposed to a traditional dating site. The site is easy to navigate, but the search options suck. If you browse the ads by country you can see 300 different women listed, but when you do a search it only shows about 100 and there are many countries/locations where there are none. So the site doesn't have a lot of members and searching them is kind of a pain.

The main thing that bothers me about this site is the free sign up process. Not only does it take a while to actually sign up for the free membership, but they ask a million questions and do some things that I personally don't appreciate. For example, they ask your blood type and they ask legal questions about you. When you enter your name and zip code they do a search of the sex offenders database to see if you appear in it. I don't have anything to worry about, but I don't want a site doing that kind of shit and even associating my name with that kind of activity. I admit I got annoyed enough that I flat out lied on most of the stuff just to get through it and after it was all said and done it still took a while for my confirmation email to come. To top it all off I unchecked the box that wanted to sign me up for their newsletter and when I got the email confirmation for the sign up it told me I would still be getting the newsletter anyway.

All that said, there are some African women in the site and they have some good information on the site about getting visas, marriage information and travel information. If you really want an African bride and are willing to jump through a lot of hoops to get inside the site you might give this one a look, otherwise I would suggest just steering clear of it.
