Afro Introductions

Afro Introductions is a dating site that focuses on bringing African American people together. You don't have to be African American to join the site, but most of the members are. The site seems to be on the smaller side when it comes to the number of members. A search for my entire state only brought up 24 members, however some searches for larger states brought back as many as 500 matches. So there are a some members, but not a huge amount of them.

The site is easy to navigate and there are some good search options as well as the ability to send instant messages to other members that are online at the same time you are. Your free membership will let you browse the site and check out the profiles, but if you want to contact any member you will have to pay. I was a little big disappointed with how long it took to sign up for the site. You have to fill in a lot of details in your profile just to get inside the site. I would rather be able to skip all that and fill it out later just in case I end up not liking the site and here you have to fill it out just to get inside the site.

Overall this is basically a workable site that has some decent features, but is a little small on members. In the big picture of things I think it falls somewhere in the upper middle of the pack. With more members and a short free membership sign up the site would be a lot better, as it stands it is just average.
