Brazil Cupid

Brazil Cupid is a dating site that specializes in helping people of Brazilian and Portuguese descent meet. You don't have to be Brazilian to use the site, but most of the members are. The site is very global with many of the members living in Brazil or South America. The sign up process (while long and detailed) even asks you if you speak English and/or Portuguese. The profiles can be very detailed and unfortunately you have answer many of these questions as you sign up for your free membership.

The process of signing up does, however, seem worth it. The site is easy to use and has some great search options. There are a lot of members, but it really depends on where you are. For example a search of my local area only brought back four members. But a search of California brought back 144 and a search of Brazil returned several thousand. The site also offers user/member forums and lists, chat rooms and the ability to send instant messages to other members. These extra features will require you to get a paid membership.

This is not a site for everyone. Because it is very location dependent some people will have great luck with it and others will not. Your free membership will let you search the profiles and look at those profiles so you can always sign up, do a search and see what happens. If there are only a few members in your area, you are out nothing but a little time and you haven't spent a dime. If there are many members in your area you can decide then if you want to contact them and move forward. The site is good, but it will only be of real value to those that live in the correct areas.
