Coyote Singles

Singles students, staff, alumni and friends of the University of South Dakota can meet, connect and date using Coyote Singles. This is a site that will work really well for the right group of people, but not well at all for most people. For starters the site is on the small side. There are only about 500 members in the site (with an even split of men and women) and almost all of these members are located in the area of the university. This is great news if you happen to live in that area. Not so great news if you don't.

Signing up for the site was a quick and easy proposition. Your profile can get very detailed, but they let you skip most of those details during the sign up process. I like that option because it lets you check out the site and see what you think of it before you spend a lot of time filling in your profile. Once inside you can search for other members using the basic search which allows you to search by age range and distance from you. There is also a Super Match option which will also use the details from your profile to best match you to other members. You can search the site and look at profiles for free, but you will have to get a paid membership if you want contact someone.

Sadly, the search and profiles are the only features on this site. There are no chat rooms, instant messaging options or user forums. Many dating sites have these now, but this one doesn't which is another strike against it.

In the end how you feel about this site really will be determined by where you live. If you are in the area of the university, then ignore my score and check the site out because you have a nice member base in your area. If you are not in the school's area then realistically the site doesn't have much to offer you.
