Eagle Dating

Students, staff, alumni and friends of Eastern Michigan University can use Eagle Dating as a great way to meet other singles. This site is one of those sites that will work great for some people, but not very well for others. There are over 2400 members, but almost all over them are in or around the area of the university. So if you are in that area, you are going to get a lot of use out of this site. If you aren't the site really won't have much value to you.

Joining the site is a quick and easy process. Your profile can have a lot of detail in it, but they let you skip most of that during the sign up process and you can go back later and fill it in. I really like that feature because I always want to see if I will get use out of the site before I spend the time to fill in the profile details. Searching for others is also very simple. You can use the basic search which allows you to narrow down your results by age group and distance to you. The advanced search is called Super Match and uses the details from your profile to match you to others. You can search the site and look at people's profiles with your free membership, but you will have to get a paid membership if you want to contact someone.

Sadly, the search options are the only real features in this site. There are no chat rooms, no instant messaging or anything like that. The lack of these features makes the site seem a little bare.

When I scored this site I did so based on how well it would work for the general public. Most people will not have much use for the site because all the members are focused in one area. However, if you happen to be involved with the school or you live in the same area as it, then ignore my score and give the site a look. There are a decent number of members for that one area and you will probably enjoy the site.
