Eligible Greeks is a dating site for people of Greek descent or people who want to date someone that is Greek. They have a nice amount of members on the site, a quick search in my area brought back more than 150 results and the site is well laid out and easy to use. Your free membership will allow you to search the profiles and check out other people's profiles. However, getting that free membership takes a little effort. They ask for a lot of detail to put in your profile when you sign up and you have to go through the process before you can get inside. It is a little annoying.

The site does offer some great features once you are in. There is the aforementioned search options which allow you to do basic and detailed searches. The detailed search will better match you with people based on the responses in their profiles. There are user discussion forums, advice columns, chat rooms, instant messaging and e-cards that you can send. Most of these features do require a paid membership, but they are nice added bonuses.

I liked what I saw in this site. It is well designed, has some great features and seems to have a nice amount of users so finding someone near you shouldn't be too hard. The sign up process is a little too long for my liking, but overall it doesn't take too much away from the site as a whole. If you are Greek or want to date a Greek person, give this one a try. I think you will like what you see.
