Falcon Dating is a dating site that helps bring the students, staff and alumni of The University of Wisconsin at River Falls together. This is a good looking site that is easy to navigate, but it really is only going to be useful to a small group of people. Almost all of the members in this site reside at or in the area around the university. If you happen to live in that same area or are a part of the school, then this site could work well for you. If not, you are pretty much out of luck because there will be no other members near you.

Signing up for Falcon Dating was a fast and easy process. The profiles can be pretty detailed, but you can skip filling in these details when you sign up and do them later. I like that feature. If I end up not liking the site I don't want waste a bunch of time filling out my profile. Once you are in the site you can search the other members using a basic search that allows you to break them down by age range and distance from you. There is also an advanced search called Super Match that uses the details from you profile to better match you with people. You can browse the profiles and do searches for people with your free membership, but if you want to contact someone directly you will have to get a paid membership.

The site does lack any real extra features. There are no chat rooms and there is no ability to send instant messages. No user forums or blogs or anything like that. The better dating sites out there now offer these features so I was a little disappointed to not see anything like this here.

In the end the way I came to the overall score I gave this site is by looking at it to see how useful it would be for the average person. For most people the site won't be of much use since all of the members are focused in one area. That said, if you are in that area, or you are involved with the school this site could be something very useful. I that case, forget the score and give it a shot.
