Heart of Asia Online is more a mail order bride type of site than an actual dating site. You can choose to just date a girl you meet on here, but the site is more laid out for someone looking for a potential bride. The tour is pretty nice looking, but the sign up process drove me mad. For starters it is very long. Add into that the fact that they ask you some very invasive questions about your life and your health. The worst of it comes when you fill in your name and city and, without warning, they actually run you against a registered sex offenders database. WTF? I have nothing to worry about, but I don't want my name even associated with that kind of stuff. I can understand some of these precautions if you are actually going to meet someone and bring them back to your country. I can understand them wanting to know about you before they do the actual introduction, but to do all of this at sign up before you have even looked at the member's area of the site is pretty freaking unbelievable.

Once I got past the sign up process I got to the member's area which has a pretty messed up design. You can browse and search the women on the site and look at their profiles, but the navigation bar is useless. If you click the home option then you get taken back to the tour and have to log in again. If you navigate anywhere on the site you just have to hit the back button (sometimes many different times) to get back to the main page. It is annoying.

All of this said, there are a lot of women listed on the site and the site does provide some good information about getting visas, immigration rules and things like that. They also provide tours where they can take to you different places to meet the women you contact through the site.

In the end this is a site that only a select few people will have a use for. If you are serious about potentially meeting an Asian woman as a bride, then you might give this site a look. Just understand that you have to give them a ton of information to sign up and that the site layout is pretty poorly done. If you are just looking to date an Asian woman or chat online with an Asian woman then are tons of better options out there.
