Large Friends

Large Friends is a dating site for those that like plus-sized people. The site has a nice design and is very easy to navigate. I did find the sign up process to be a little bit long winded, but I was able to get through it without too much pain. Once inside you can use the search options to find people near you. A quick search of my area returned more than 500 results. There are a lot of users on this site so you should have no trouble finding people no matter where you live.

This site offers some really nice interactive features. There are a ton of blogs and user forums. You can read people's blogs or start your own if you want. There are also chat rooms and instant messaging available. You can use the basic search tool and look at people's profiles with your free membership, but pretty much everything else, including the advanced search tool, will require you to get a paid membership.

Getting a paid membership does have some benefits in addition to just getting access to the aforementioned features. With a paid membership your profile will show up at the top of the search results so you will get a lot more views. There are also a lot of great ways to keep track of friends and pimp out your profile. Maybe the best feature of a paid membership is that you get access to the verified members. These are members who have verified that they are real people with the site. This means that these people are regular people like you who are looking for others so you can know for sure that they are not fake profiles or someone who will never answer your emails or chat requests.

I liked what I saw here. The site has a lot of members, is well designed and has some really nice features. I would have liked to have seen some of them in action without having to get a paid membership, but that is a pretty minor blemish on what is otherwise a very nice site. If you are a plus-sized person or you are looking to date someone who is, give this site a look, I think you will like what you find.
