Loving BBW is a dating site for those who like plus-sized people. The site has a slick, easy to use design and looks nice. I did find the sign up process to be a little too long. I prefer to be allowed to skip most of that detail and fill it in later if I decide to use the site. Here they make you fill in most of that info, which kind of annoyed me.

Once inside the site I did a basic search for my area and found a lot of people. This site has a nice number of members so I feel just about anyone should have no trouble finding like-minded people in their area. There is a more detailed search which will help narrow down your results, but you need to upgrade to a paid membership in order to use that. The other primary feature of the site is an instant message program that allows you to IM people who are online at the same time you are. There are some minor features as well that include ways to manage your friends lists and the ability to post a video greeting on your profile. As with the advanced search most of these features also require a paid membership to use. The good news is that the paid membership is very affordable and there are some other benefits of getting one including using a tool they call the “Personality Match”.

For the most part this is a pretty standard dating site. They have some good features, but there are also a few negative aspects to it. As far as price goes, it is one of the most affordable sites around. I liked the features offered, but wished there were a little more like general chat rooms or user forums. I have seen a hand full of BBW and plus-sized dating sites recently and I would rank this one somewhere in the middle of those. It isn't bad, but it isn't great either. The price does give it a little kick though so it is worth checking out for that reason alone.
