Match.com is a pretty well advertised online dating site. The tour for the site is very simple and they don't let you browse the site or look at the site in any way until you have registered for the site. I found the registration process to take a long time and I probably skipped over half of it. You can skip large portions of it, but it is still pretty involved. The good news is if you like the site and you want to use it you can go back in and fill out your profile in detail.

Detail is what Match.com is all about. There are many members with very detailed profiles and many pictures of themselves. The profiles ask a lot of questions and the site features both a basic search and a very impressive advanced search that lets you sift through the profiles and match them up with yours. The site is very easy to use and is well designed. It is mostly meant for those that are looking for a relationship, not just a hook-up.

Aside from the long signup process the only other down sides of the site is that there are not a lot of extras and there is a decent amount of advertising inside the member's area. Match.com focuses its energy on the profiles and matching people through them so there are no webcams, or blogs or anything like that. Overall, the site is impressive and if you are looking for a relationship and want to take the time to fill out your profile in detail I would imagine this site would make just about anyone happy.
