NYU Singles

NYU Singles is a dating site for New York University students, faculty, alumni and fans. While you don't have to be involved with the school to use this site, for it to be of its most useful you will need to at least live in the general area around it because that is where almost all of the members of the site are located.

After the quick and simple free sign up is done you will find a member's area that is very easy to navigate. This is a site that focuses on the profiles of the users so the two main features are the search options. You can do a basic search which allows you to sort the profiles by age and distance from you. There is an advanced search option called Super Match as well. This option takes the details from your profile and uses them to match you with other members. In order to use this feature you will have to fill in all of those details on your profile. Unfortunately, the search features are the only features this site offers. There are no chat rooms, user forums or any other kind of bonus features on the site.

For me this is one of those sites that some people will find useful, but most people will not. If you live in the NYU area then you should check out this site. While it is thin on features, almost all of the members are in your area so finding someone near you will be easy. You can search the site and check out the profiles for free. You only have to get a paid membership if you want to contact someone directly so you are out nothing to give it a try. If you don't live near NYU then the site probably won't be worth your time and the fact that most people will be in that boat is why I scored it on the lower end.
