Ram Dating is a dating site that specializes in people who are students, faculty or alumni of the University of Rhode Island. The site has a very basic design that is decked out in Ram colors and getting your free membership is a very quick and easy process. They do hit you with a lot of questions as you sign up, but you can skip most of them if you wish.

Inside the site you can search the profiles and finish filling in your profile if you wish. The site has two different search options. The basic search lets you search by age range and distance from you while the advanced search lets you narrow down the results based on how people have answered the questions in their profiles. In theory these are great, but in reality they are almost not needed. The site is very location specific so almost all of the members of the site are in or around the University. Add to that the fact that there are only a few hundred members in the site and it means you can just browse all the members, there isn't a lot of need to do any kind of real searching.

Your free membership does allow you to browse all the profiles and check out the entire site. You only have to pay if you wish to send someone a message. For most people this site will not be of much use, but for those that are involved with or alumni of the University it could be a useful site. At the very least you know you have the school as a common factor with all the other members. Since it is free, you aren't out anything to give it a look.
