Single Parent Meet is a dating site that helps single parents find each other. The site has a nice basic design and right from the start I get a good feeling about it. The free sign up process is pretty quick and painless so I'm able to get inside and start looking around without much delay. I found the member's area to be well designed and easy to use. Searching the profiles is a snap. You can do a basic search which locates people in your area and within a specified age range or you can use the advanced search to find people using other criteria that you define. A quick search in my area returned more than 500 people which means the site has a lot of members in it.

In addition to the profile searches the site also has a live chat room, user forums and an instant messaging system that allows you to send instant messages to other members who are online at the same time you are. There are also some advice columns and some items that help you get your profile in order. You can search the profiles and look at the profiles for free, but using any of the bonus features, or contacting anyone through your profile will require you to get a paid membership.

You don't have to be a single parent to use the site, but most of the members are so at the least you must be looking for someone who is or this site will not be of much use to you.

Overall, I really liked what I saw here. The site has a nice amount of members, is easy to use and has some really nice features. Most of those features do require you to get a paid membership to use them, but your free membership will let you get a good idea of what this site is all about so you can make a good decision before spending your money. If you are a single parent, or looking to date one, this site is a great place to start.
