Viet Vibe

Viet Vibe is a dating site that aims to help single Vietnamese people meet. The site has a very basic tour that allows you to do a free basic search so you can get the feel of how the site looks. Signing up for the free membership did take a little longer than I would have liked. I prefer to be allowed to fill in all the details of my profile after I have had a chance to look at the site and here they pretty much force you to do it.

Once you have a membership you can search for people in your area. A quick search of people in my direct area didn't return many results. As I expanded out I did get more results. It looks like there are not a whole lot of members on this site. I would imagine your success will depend on where you live. If you live near large cities or anywhere that has a larger Vietnamese population there are probably going to be more members than in rural areas or areas with smaller Asian populations.Your free membership will allow you to do a basic search and look at people's profiles, but if you want to respond to people or use the advanced search you will have to get a paid membership. The paid membership will also put your profile on the top of any pertinent searches that people do so you will get a lot more exposure.

I did find the site lacking in overall features. There are no chat rooms, forums, blogs or anything like that. There is an instant message system and a few profile-driven features, but you will need a paid membership to use them. On the good side the paid membership is actually very affordable so you won't be out much to use it and they give a full list of every benefit you get for using a paid paid membership.

Overall, this is an average site. It is easy to use and I like that the paid membership is cheap. It does lack some features other dating sites are now offering and it also seems to have a smaller membership base. If you are interested in meeting a Vietnamese person you can always get a free membership and give it a try to see how many members there are in your area. At least this way you can know for sure and you aren't out anything but a few minutes of your time. There are a few different Vietnamese dating sites out there and I think this one falls somewhere in the middle of the pack.
