Vietnam Cupid

Vietnam Cupid is a dating site that helps connect Vietnamese people. Even though most of the members are Vietnamese you don't have to be to register and use this site. For me the site really works towards a core audience and its success of failure depends on where you live. Many of the members here live in Vietnam and speak mainly Vietnamese, so keep that in mind as you go forward.

Registering for the free membership was a little longer of a process then I would have liked, but once I got through it I found a member's area that was nice and clean and easy to use. The site has some nice features including both basic and advanced search options as well as chat rooms, user discussion forums and the ability to send instant messages to other members who are online. You can do a basic search and browse the profiles with your free membership, but if you want to respond to any of the members or if you want to use the advanced search or other features you will have to get a paid membership.

I did a basic search for my area and found only four members in my entire state. Other states had more, but Vietnam and SE Asian areas had a lot. So clearly the core of the membership is there. This means if you live in that area or don't mind talking to people in that area the site will work great for you. If you don't live there or don't have an interest in talking to people from there, then it really won't be of much use for you. There are some areas around the USA that had a decent number of members, mostly the big major cities so people in those areas could also find this site useful.

The site has some nice features and is easy to use. For those in the right area it is a winner and they should give it a look. For those that are not, just move on because there won't be much of any real use to you here.
