War Eagle Singles

War Eagle Singles is also known as the place where Tigers meet. It is a site that is primarily meant to help the single students, alumni and friends of Auburn University meet. The site has a nice looking design and is very easy to navigate. I found signing up for the free membership to be very quick and easy. The profiles in this site can be pretty detailed, but they let you skip filling in most of that information when you sign up and allow you to fill it in later. I like that choice because it lets me check out the site and see what I think before I spend a lot of time filling out my profile. Something I do need to mention here is that almost all of the members of this site live in the general area of the university. You don't have to live there or be involved with the school to sign up for or use this site, but if you don't live near the school there is a very good chance that there will not be any members that live near you.

Giving the site a good looking over is easy. You can search through the user profiles using two different search tools. The first is a basic search that allows you to select an age range and distance from you and sort the members using those criteria. There is also a more advanced option called Smart Match. This option takes the details from your profile and uses them to match you with like-minded people. If you haven't already filled in the details on your profile you will need to do that before the Smart Match option will be of much use to you. You can create a profile, search the member profiles and look at all the profiles with your free membership, but you will need to get a paid membership if you want to contact someone directly.

In the end I did score this site on the lower end primarily because of the local nature of its membership. If you don't live in the correct area the site will be of little value to you. Also, the site does lack any features beyond the search tools which was a let down. However, if you do live near the school or are involved with the school I would recommend that ignore my rating and give the site a try since all of the members live in your area. This will give you a pretty strong chance of meeting someone you like and since the membership is free you are out nothing but a few minutes to try it.
